A pack of tourists.

View of the city from the tower.
Yesterday turned out to be an epic day of touristing. We did get a very late start, leaving after 2 pm, but most of us felt well enough to take on the day. We started out at the Galeria Kaufhof, a beautiful department store with an awesome cafeteria. We fueled up on food, since it was our first real meal of the day, then went out to explore the city.

Searching for Donnie below.

Down was way easier.
Nobody really had any ideas about what they wanted to do, so we wandered around in the Marienplatz, then over to St. Peter's Church. For just 1.50 you can climb to the top of the towers to see an amazing view of the city. It was a long walk up, and poor James was still hurting from Oklahoma. But we made it! It was worth the climb. There was very little space, and a lot of people, but the views were incredible. We looked for Donnie who stayed below with Paul, but couldn't see him unfortunately.

From there we headed over to the Viktualenmarkt and wandered for a while. Then we walked down through the Odeonsplatz and through the Hofgarten on the way to the Englischer Garten. Basically it was the same walk Donnie, Paul and I did a few days ago, only in the opposite direction. It was a beautiful day and the gardens were beautiful.

Goofing around!
Walking through the Hofgarten

Miraculously we ended up at the Chinese Beer Garden and settled in for some snacks. Paul logged some serious playtime on the playground, including playing with a brother-sister team that were intent on getting him up on the play set, then down the slide. It was pretty cute. We were all pretty tired after that and it was after 7, so we headed home.

And sadly, we were too tired to go out, so we all were in bed by 10 pm. Haha, we are making it out tonight, if it kills me! :) It was so much fun though to explore the city with V and James. Hopefully today the rain will clear and we'll be able to head out the the Olympic park. We'll see. :)
Paul doesn't walk much, just runs.

Silly boy!
I have to give some photo credits to V and James, I have been stealing their photos and they have much better cameras than me. :) Thanks guys.
