German Win!

We just got back from watching the Germans beat Portugal 1-0 in the Euro Cup. Makes the Spurs loss hurt less for sure. We watched it at the Hofbrau Haus, not by any purpose, it was just the only place with seats open. Super fun though! I'll back up though to make more sense of the day.

Since our luggage arrived, we went for a run as soon as humanly possible, and through a series of wrong turns, we found ourselves at a really neat little park. Before we had a chance to explore, we had to head back to the apartment to make sure that Ron, Angie and Mikaela had a chance to make their train to Dachau.

After an uneventful afternoon, we went to meet the crew at the Marienplatz and found ourselves people watching for about 2 hours. Since the game was scheduled for the evening, there were several crowds of bachelor parties celebrating in the platz.
Chillin' in the Marienplatz

German Bachelor fun...Jogi is the bachelor.
Whoa...the Glockenspiel :)
Have you ever seen a German bachelor party? It's seriously intense. Those guys have to go around and sell shots, dance ridiculously, and generally make an incredible fool of themselves in public. (I can't wait until Matt's. LOL) They were entertaining enough, and we met Ron, Angie, Mikaela, her sister and boyfriend for dinner at the sweetest little restaurant called Playa. We ate, then Ron and Angie took Paul home and we went on to seek out the game.
Dinnertime...my boys.

We watched the game at Hofbrau only because it had a huge screen and seats for us to enjoy. Our waiter poked fun at Donnie for all the beer he drank and I couldn't help but miss Matt even more because he would have enjoyed every single second of this evening. Miss you, bro and love you even more.

Hofbrau game time.
More adventures to come tomorrow. And cheers to Germany's win over Portugal!
